Frequently asked questions
- What is a roster maker?
- A roster maker is a tool that helps you create and manage employee work schedules. RosterShare lets you build weekly rosters visually, assign shifts, track availability, and share the published schedule with your team.
- Is RosterShare really free?
- Yes! RosterShare is free to use. You can manage your employees with full shift scheduling, availability tracking, and employee management at no cost.
- How do I share a roster with my team?
- You can publish your roster and share it via a public link, email it directly to employees, or download it as a PDF. Employees can view the published schedule without needing an account.
- Can employees see their own schedule?
- Yes! Published rosters can be shared via a link that anyone can view. In the future, employees will be able to create accounts and log in to see their personal schedule, request time off, and set their availability.

- A roster template saves your shift pattern for a week so you can reuse it. If your schedule follows a pattern (e.g. the same shifts every week), save it as a template and apply it with one click instead of recreating it.
- Can I use RosterShare for multiple locations?
- Yes! You can create multiple locations and assign shifts to specific locations. This makes it easy to manage schedules across different sites or departments.
