How do casual staff see their roster?
Casuals see the latest published roster in their own account on any phone, with nothing to install. You can also notify them by SMS or email when the week is published or changes, share a read-only link, or print a copy for the back room.
What happens when someone calls in sick before Saturday open?
Post the shift as an open shift and every available casual sees it immediately, instead of you texting the group chat one name at a time. Keep manager approval on claims if you want the final say on who covers the registers.
Can I roster staff across more than one store?
Yes. Each store is a location, Pro has no limit on locations or staff, and staff who float between stores appear on one roster so you can see their whole week before adding another shift. Filter the grid to one store to check its coverage on its own.
Does RosterShare interpret the retail award?
No. RosterShare calculates labour costs as hourly rate times paid hours and exports approved timesheets as CSV, so award interpretation and penalty rates are applied by your payroll system or bookkeeper. If you need award interpretation inside the rostering tool, a larger platform will fit better.
Can I keep a record of rostered and worked hours?
Yes. Published rosters stay in your account, staff clock in from their phone or a tablet in the back office, and every punch becomes a timesheet entry beside the rostered shift. Approve the week and export the history to CSV whenever you need it.
