Can I roster guards across multiple client sites?
Yes. Each client site is a location in RosterShare, and Pro has no limit on locations or team size. Filter the roster to a single site to check coverage, or print and share a per-site roster when a client asks for one.
How do guards get their roster?
Guards see the latest published roster in their own account on any phone, with nothing to install. You can notify them by email or SMS when the roster is published or changed, and share a read-only link with anyone who needs it.
What happens when a guard drops a shift?
Post it as an open shift and let available guards claim it, with manager approval if you want the final say. Guards who cannot make a shift can request cover themselves, so the swap is visible instead of happening in side texts.
Does RosterShare verify where guards clock in from?
No. Guards clock in and out from their own account, or from a shared tablet kiosk with a personal PIN, and each punch becomes a timesheet entry for manager approval. There is no GPS or photo verification, so if your client contracts require location-verified clock-ins, a larger workforce platform will fit better.
Does RosterShare track security licences?
No. RosterShare does not track licence numbers or expiry dates, so keep those in your HR records. It focuses on rostering, notifying guards, filling dropped shifts, and collecting hours for payroll.
