Why a shared kiosk

Built for teams where phones stay in the back room.

Casual staff, shared floors, and no-phones-on-shift policies all make personal-device clocking awkward. A kiosk gives everyone one obvious place to punch, right where they walk in.

Punching takes seconds

Tap your name, enter your PIN, done. The kiosk shows who is in, who is on a break, and who has left for the day.

PINs keep punches honest

Every punch is confirmed with a personal PIN, and attempts are rate limited. Managers see exactly which kiosk each punch came from.

Nothing to maintain

The kiosk is a link, not an app. There are no updates to install, and replacing the tablet is as simple as opening the link again.

Works on any tablet
iPads, Android tablets, or any device with a modern browser. Open the kiosk link, go fullscreen, and leave it by the counter.
Personal 4-digit PINs
Each staff member punches with their own PIN. PINs are generated for you, shown only to managers, and can be regenerated any time.
No logins on the tablet
Staff do not need an account, an email address, or a password to use the kiosk. They tap their name and enter their PIN.
Per-location kiosks
Each location gets its own kiosk link showing only the staff who work there. Staff without an assigned location appear on every kiosk.
Breaks from the kiosk
Staff start and end breaks at the same screen. Break minutes are timed and recorded as unpaid time on the timesheet.
Punches become timesheets
Every clock-out creates a timesheet entry linked to the rostered shift, submitted and ready for manager approval.
Resettable kiosk links
If a tablet goes missing or a link leaks, reset it in Settings. The old link stops working immediately and PIN attempts are rate limited.
Live attendance for managers
Kiosk punches appear in the live attendance view alongside app punches, tagged with the location they came from.

Launch the kiosk from Settings

Enable the time clock, choose the whole team or a single location, and open or copy the kiosk link for that tablet.

Set up the tablet once

Open the link on the tablet, tap fullscreen, and leave it at the counter or by the staff entrance. Staff PINs are generated automatically.

Staff tap their name and punch

Clock in, start a break, or clock out with a PIN. Managers approve the resulting timesheet entries and export hours for payroll.
